MAC Youth Camp 2018 goes to Laguna! Tuesday, Oct 23 2018 11:33AM

It is that time of the year again for an event that a true MACian would never miss and a program that does not only create friendships, but builds relationship with Jesus Christ, the most-awaited outdoor camp of the year, the MAC Youth Camp 2018.

This year's camp was held at the Word of Life Campsite in Calauyan, Laguna, which catered almost 300 faculty and students for three days of socializing with friends and communing with our Father in Heaven. Held on October 12-14, 2018, the M.Y.Camp with the theme, "Holding On, Letting Go, Moving On,” has made an impact with messages that touched the lives of all those who were present.

The camp started off with action-packed activities, group discussions and the best part of it all, a special bonfire where everyone gathered at the open amphitheater to burn their burdens and sorrows away and finally let God in their hearts to guide their lives forever.

Partnered with heart-racing activities were inspiring messages by the Vice President of the Nursing Services of the Adventist Medical Center Manila, Mr. Joe Rey Dayahan during the afternoon and evening sessions. Pastor Pablo Libante, chaplain of Manila Adventist College, on the other hand, was chosen by God to share the message during the Divine Service. Their messages highlighted how holding on to the important things, letting go of the negative and moving on from the past can help us start anew with a newfound purpose in life, clinging side by side with God to guide us.
